Raadhaa buys a mirror
That is good near her.
As she draws away
Her face looks a-wavy;
Her mirror is a terror!

Raadhaa cuts tomatoes
To help her mom with parathas
Nicks a thumb
How dumb!
Blood is no tamasha!

Raadhaa cooks curry
In a little hurry;
Too much mirchi,
Too less subji;
Curry is a worry!

Raadhaa buys a bag of fashion
Having zips six or seven;
When she looks for a key,
The bag turns up empty;
Fashion-passion is a tension!

Raadhaa buys a watch,
But it has a catch;
When she takes it off,
The watch switches off;
Her watch has no match!

Raadhaa buys a soap
in the fond hope
That it cleans
Oil stains;
Her hope turns a flop!

Raadhaa rides on a bus
Without much of a fuss;
Bikes are a bore,
Cars are more;
Buses are safe and cost less!

Raadhaa buys her bindi
In a shop owned by a Sindhi;
Sticker peals off,
Bindi falls off;
Sindhi ya Hindi!

Raadhaa's kid brother Ramanaa
At times acts like Raavanaa;
Jumps on her,
Pulls her hair;
Pranks of the son of Pavanaa!

Raadhaa heats her milk,
A wrinkled sheet of silk;
She stares at it
Lost in thought;
It boils over in a blink!
