Here is a comma-less sentence from an article in DC, Edit Page, Saturday 19, 2013:
"Since the end of the Cold War structural changes in the global political economy that have reinforced the class power of the rich whilst opening up space for the mythical "middle class" have been augmented by the discursive manoeuvers of pro-establishment thinkers and political practitioners such that the insurrectionary language of yesteryear is the politically correct terminology of today."
The current-affairs piece bristles with such sentences with ten-dollar words (as Hemingway put it).
Mark Twain said of Jane Austen, as I quoted him the other day:

I won't go as far as Mark Twain since the author of the above sentence is a male and a foreign neighbor and a teacher to boot.
But when I read that sentence I felt like Samson (of the Delilah fame):
