This has reference to the article of Irfan Hussain on the editorial page of 7th June.
Behind its cloak of fairness and moderation, the entire article reeks of pure panic. The 'war of thousand cuts' is apparently not working and Pakistan is now crying for 'negotiation'. India is clearly in no hurry to pull Pakistan's chestnuts out of a fire they themselves ignited. Sherlock Holmes would have said: "Taliban is a Speckled Band". As far Hussain's Certificate to Musharraf of the Agra Summit as a bold 'out-of-the-box thinker', he should ask what has happened to that visionary statesman now in his own country. Clearly, the cunning jackals have turned into bleating sheep.
